In many cases wireless alarm systems have become the preferred method over a conventional hard wired set-up in home installations. These can be ideal for a small house, flat or apartment.

The first generation of wireless burglar alarms were limited in range and the reliability couldn’t always be counted on. Improvements in recent years have meant these types of alarms can be looked at as a viable solution. However we recommend and install only the higher grades of equipment as there are still many budget systems available where the reliability and quality do not meet our high standards.
Conventional wired systems often need the engineer to drill walls to run the hard wired cables or run them under floorboards or carpets. With a wireless system the engineer needs only to fix the detectors to the wall. The installation of the wireless burglar alarm is much more straightforward. In addition to the non-invasive installation the latest wireless systems are accredited to Grade 2 European standard which many insurance companies require.
The wireless intruder alarm systems monitors their own battery power alerting when they need to be replaced. However when you take out one of our competitive maintenance contracts these are automatically changed by our engineers before they reach critical level.
